This Privacy Policy explains how Gymsinq ("Gymsinq", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit gymsinq.com (the "Website") or use the Gymsinq gym management software (the "Service"). By using the Website or the Service, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you book a demo or send a feature request through the forms on our Website, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, phone number, gym name, city and your message.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Website. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, your approximate location, and your browser and device type. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may also process technical information such as your IP address to deliver and protect the Website.
Information stored in the Service
Gym owners who use Gymsinq enter information about their own gym into the Service. This can include member names and contact details, fees and payments, membership dates, attendance records (including fingerprint attendance where used), staff details, salaries, enquiries and expenses.
2. How we use information
- To contact you about a demo, a feature request or your account, including by phone or WhatsApp
- To provide, maintain and improve the Service
- To provide customer support
- To understand how the Website is used and make it better
- To keep the Website and the Service secure and prevent misuse
- To meet our legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Gym and member data
The information a gym enters about its members and staff belongs to that gym. The gym is responsible for collecting it lawfully and for having its members' and staff members' consent where required, including for fingerprint attendance. Gymsinq processes this data only to provide the Service to the gym and does not use it for any other purpose.
If you are a member of a gym that uses Gymsinq and you have a question about your data, please contact your gym first. We will help your gym respond to your request.
4. Sharing information
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Website and the Service, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Google Analytics for website analytics
- Cloudflare for website hosting and security
- FormSubmit, which delivers the forms on our Website to our email inbox
- Google Fonts, which loads the fonts on our Website
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Gymsinq, our users or others.
5. Cookies
The Website uses cookies set by Google Analytics to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The Website will still work if you do.
6. Data retention
We keep demo and feature request details for as long as needed to respond to you and follow up. We keep gym data for as long as the gym has an active Gymsinq account, and for a reasonable period afterwards unless the gym asks us to delete it sooner.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of storing or sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below.
9. Children
The Website and the Service are meant for gym owners and their staff. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the Website.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
